Ram Charan, popularly known as "Mega Power Star" in the Telugu film industry, is an Indian actor, producer, and entrepreneur. He was born on March 27, 1985, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Ram Charan is the son of renowned Telugu actor Chiranjeevi and the grandson of legendary Telugu actor Allu Ramalingaiah.
Ram Charan made his acting debut with the film "Chirutha" in 2007, directed by Puri Jagannadh. Despite receiving mixed reviews, his performance was well-received, and he won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut – South for his portrayal of a young man seeking revenge for his father's death. However, it was his second film, "Magadheera" (2009), directed by S.S. Rajamouli, that established him as a leading actor in the Telugu film industry. The movie became a massive success and garnered critical acclaim for Ram Charan's performance. It also earned him several awards, including the Nandi Special Jury Award.
